CMI was formed from an electric contracting business in 2009 that saw needs in the construction staffing industry that were not being met. Driven by the belief that CMI could deliver thoroughly vetted, skilled, and dependable mechanics to contractors and industrial clients, the company committed itself to the staffing industry with this mission in mind.

Brandon Sterba, Operations Manager

I am a Marine Corps Veteran who has been with CMI since 2018. I enjoy spending time with family and being outdoors. My favorite recreational activities are fishing and golf.

Frank Simko III, Cleveland Sales Manager

I’m Frank Simko III and have been with CMI since 2012 servicing the Cleveland market for construction staffing. I enjoy spending time with my family, wife and friends. I like to travel to new cities and countries and experience the local cuisine and lifestyle. I’m an avid workout enthusiast, golfer and runner.

Susie Puig, Florida Territory Manager

I joined Construction Mechanics, Inc (CMI) last year June 2023. I bring the experience of management, sales & recruiting of over 25 plus years to CMI. I love family life and playing softball, fishing, and skeet shooting. I currently own and adore my two border collies, Maggie and Sadie. We also have a few cows we own on some property out of Okeechobee, FL.
